This Privacy Policy describes how PureOrbit Digital ("we," "us," or "our"), operating at pureorbit.digital, collects, uses, stores, and protects information you provide when you use this website. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA), and its implementing rules and regulations issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC) of the Philippines.

Personal Information as defined under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 refers to any information from which the identity of an individual can be reasonably and directly ascertained, or when put together with other information, would directly and certainly identify an individual. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and similar data.

1. Who We Are

PureOrbit Digital is a financial education platform. We are not a bank, lending institution, financial advisor, broker, or intermediary of any kind. We do not sell financial products. Our website provides general educational content about banking products, consumer credit, and consumer rights under Philippine law. As the operator of this website, PureOrbit Digital acts as the Personal Information Controller with respect to the data you provide through this site.

Personal Information Controller refers to a natural or juridical person, or any other body, who controls the collection, holding, processing, or use of personal information, including a person or body who instructs another person or body to collect, hold, process, use, transfer, or disclose personal information on his or her behalf. (DPA, Section 3(h))

We collect information only when you voluntarily provide it. Specifically, we collect information when you use the contact form on this website. The categories of information we may collect include:

Your full name, as entered in the contact form. Your email address, which we use to respond to your inquiry. Your phone number, if provided. The content of your message. We also collect certain technical information automatically when you visit our website, including your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and the time and date of your visit. This technical information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies, which are described separately in our Cookie Policy.

We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under the DPA, such as government identification numbers, health records, financial account details, or information about political or religious beliefs.

IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) is a numerical label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. An IP address may be used to identify the general geographic location of a visitor but does not, on its own, identify an individual by name.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide through our contact form solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not use your contact information to send unsolicited marketing messages, share it with third parties for commercial purposes, or build profiles for advertising purposes.

Personal Information Processor refers to any natural or juridical person or any other body to whom a personal information controller may outsource or instruct the processing of personal information pertaining to a data subject. (DPA, Section 3(i))

5. Data Retention

We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of follow-up communications. We do not retain personal information beyond what is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Technical data collected through analytics tools is retained in accordance with the retention policies of the tools we use. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at info@pureorbit.digital.

6. Your Rights Under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject under the DPA, you have the following rights with respect to your personal information held by PureOrbit Digital:

The right to be informed about how your personal information is collected and used. The right to access your personal information and obtain a copy of the data we hold about you. The right to correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information. The right to object to the processing of your personal information on grounds relating to your particular situation. The right to erasure or blocking of your personal information where processing is no longer necessary or where you have withdrawn consent. The right to data portability where technically feasible. The right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission if you believe your rights have been violated.
